According to the ABC website the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission’s (ACCC) legal action against Google no longer includes the global internet company’s Australian and Irish subsidiaries.
Say what? I didn’t realise the ACCC had a problem with Google’s search results!
Despite what I wrote my previous post on tracker, it turns out that there is a desktop search utility that connects to tracker. I stumbled upon it by accident today when I was looking for something else in my menu. It’s found in Applications -> Accessories -> Tracker Search Tool.
